MOTUL 2-Stroke Synthetic 710 ALTN Engine Oil (1L)
MOTUL 2-Stroke Synthetic 710 ALTN Engine Oil (1L)
710 2T is a 2-stroke high-performance engine oil with high-quality ester components for the highest demands in racing and on the road in all 2-stroke engines with injection or carburettor. Suitable for both mixed and separate lubrication. Compatible with modern exhaust aftertreatment systems.
SPECIFICATIONS/STANDARDS:
STANDARDS: API TC, ISO-L-EGD
APPROVALS: JASO FD N° M033MOT064
JASO (Japanese Automobile Standards Organization) has developed its own standard for 2-stroke motorcycle engine oils, JASO M 345, which classifies the different qualities with the gradations FB, FC, FD with the aim of improving the performance of two-stroke oils. The JASO M 345 assesses the quality of the engine oil according to the following four criteria: Lubricity, Low Smoke Combustion, Engine Cleanliness, Exhaust System Clogging. JASO FD is a very high performance level.
ISO (International Organization for Standardization) L-EGD corresponds to the requirements of JASO FC only in the evaluation of the cleaning power of the oil stricter criteria are set. ISO L-EGD describes the currently highest performance level for 2-stroke engine oils.
ADVANTAGES:
- Pre-dissolved 2-stroke high performance engine oil allows fast and stable fuel/oil mixing.
- Outstanding lubricating properties reduce frictional losses and provide reliable wear protection even in high RPM ranges and under high thermal loads.
- Particularly low smoke and ash combustion.
- The excellent cleaning properties keep pistons and the entire engine components clean. This prevents deposits and coking in the combustion chamber, on spark plugs and in the exhaust system.
- Prevents piston rings from sticking.
- Good visibility in the fuel/oil mixture due to green colouring.
- Available in the practical resealable 1-liter can with filler neck, dosing scale and viewing strip, making it easier to refill the oil or premix.
RECOMMENDATIONS AND NOTES:
Before use, be sure to observe the manufacturer's service documents and recommendations! Mixing ratio for mixture lubrication from 2% to 4% (50:1 to 25:1) or as specified by the manufacturer.
